Science Week 2018 will be taking place around Ireland from 11-18 November. For that week, Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) are encouraging people to ask those questions that they've always wondered. Why and how do things work? It's a fascinating world that we live in and we should learn as much as we can about it.
If you have ever wondered anything about the world around you, post your question on social media with the hashtag #StopAndAsk. By the end of the day you'll be that bit more in the know.
There are also loads of events happening around the country over the week. Learn all about the science of gin, or how your smart phone works. It might be simpler than you thought, or it might blow your mind. You'll never know if you don't ask.
For now though, let's see how much you do know. How much of that dreaded Junior Cert exam would you be able to get through today? Maybe you'll surprise yourself.
Brought to you by Science Foundation Ireland.
