Weather experts pinpoint date snow could hit Ireland later this month

Now remember, long-range weather forecasts are always subject to change but forecasters at WXCharts.com have put together their estimation.

The experts on all things weather believe some parts of the country could see snowfall on Tuesday, November 28th and Wednesday, November 29th.

Their weather map shows that the parts of the country likely to be most affected by the cold snap include Galway, Dublin, Monaghan, Louth and Northern Ireland.

Parts of the country will experience snowfall, but Met Éireann hasn’t confirmed the wintry conditions.

The authority on all things weather published their long-range forecast for Monday, November 27th to Sunday, December 3rd.

"Currently high pressure is forecast to dominate Ireland’s weather for this week, steering weather systems away from our shores," reads the forecast on the official Met Eireann website.

"Temperatures are expected to be slightly above average in many areas, however temperatures more around average along eastern and southern coastal areas.

"As a result of the influence of high pressure, precipitation is expected to be below or around average in most areas, with perhaps the far northwest having slightly above average precipitation amounts."

On the bright side, temperatures will be above average for this time of year - for now.
