A three-year-old boy has shot his 18-month-old brother dead in Central Arizona.
According to reports, the two youngsters found the gun in their neighbour’s apartment which they were visiting with their mother at the time.
They apparently took the semi-automatic handgun into another room where the incident allegedly happened.
Police Chief Don Engler said that neither adult knew the children had the weapon and that the investigation could take around a week.
After the investigation, which is said to be focusing on the securing of the gun, the County Attorney’s Office will then decide whether they will prosecute anybody.
