Vanessa Trump, girlfriend of Tiger Woods and former daughter-in-law to Donald Trump, has revealed she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
She made the announcement on Wednesday in a post shared to Instagram, revealing she's already had a surgical procedure done.
She wrote: "I want to share a personal health update. I've recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. While this isn't news anyone expects, I'm working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan.
"I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me. I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me.
"Thank you for your kindness and support, it truly means more than I can express. I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery.
Vanessa is the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr and is currently dating former golf star Tiger Woods.
Her daughter, Kai, is the first grandchild of Donald Trump.
Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump's eldest daughter, was first among the family to offer public support to her former sister-in-law.
"Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama," she commented on Vanessa's post.
