A restaurant in Nigeria has been closed down amid suspicion that human flesh was being served to customers.
BBC is reporting that concerned locals went to police to report suspicious activity at the venue and an inspection of the premises revealed bags containing human heads and several weapons.
It’s also believed that dishes made with human flesh were found on the premises and ten people have now been arrested and taken into custody by police.
According to The Telegraph, local priest told the BBC that his suspicions were raised when he was charged €3 for a meal, which is much higher than the average in the country.
“The attendant noticed my reaction and told me it was the small piece of meat I had eaten that made the bill scale that high,” he said.
“I did not know I had been served with human meat, and that it was that expensive.”
