PSNI issue urgent appeal for missing children and their mother

The PSNI has issued an urgent alert following the disappearance of a mother and her children in Co. Down.

Both police and their family are growing concerned for mother Sallyanne Finegan and her two children.

The mum and her son Martin Cawley (7), and daughter Mary Anna Caley (6) have been missing since Wednesday morning.

Their family confirmed they have not heard from them since around 9 am on July 19th.

Police believe they could be travelling in a red Renault Clio.

They are now growing even more concerned for their welfare.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact them immediately.

The PSNI issued a statement following the family’s disappearance:

“Police and family are concerned with the whereabouts of Martin (7) and Mary Anna (6) Cawley, and their mother Sallyanne Finegan.

“They were last seen in Banbridge around 0900 hours yesterday morning.”

“The family has links to Banbridge, Dungannon, and Keady areas,” the PSNI confirmed.

“They may be travelling in a red Renault Clio. If you have any information about their whereabouts, please get in contact with Police via 101 giving reference 1298 of 19/07/23.”
