An investigation is now underway after a man was shot dead in Dublin on Wednesday night.
The 35-year-old man was treated at the scene before being taken to Tallaght Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Gardaí were called to the scene just after 10.30pm.
According to reports, two men were arrested close to the scene and are being held at Tallaght Garda Station.
