Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has been sentenced to death by a federal jury for his role in a bomb attack at the Boston Marathon in April 2013.
The jury chose death by lethal injection for 21-year-old Tsarnev.
Tsarnev was convicted last month by the same jury on all 30 charges in connection with the bomb attack.
The sentence is subject to appeal.
