Lemon, a riesenschnauzer, is a seriously smart dog.
His 47-year-old owner, Alexander Matitsyn, purchased Lemon after retiring from the Russian Army.
Alexander previously served as an army dog trainer and was eager to teach Lemon basic farming methods, according to The Main Siberian Journal.
“I made him carry the bucket to get water from the yard because we aren’t on a mains water supply here, and before long he was carrying the bucket himself, hooking it on the pump and then standing on the lever so that the water comes out and then bringing the bucket back without spilling it” said Ferguson.
Lemon is one smart dog
Four-year-old Lemon is also able to plough a straight line and regularly helps Alexander on his farm in the city of Tara in Omsk Oblast.
It’s obvious that Alexander is very proud of his canine companion, saying “he loves to learn and try out new things and never forgets a trick”.
