Weird Sensation Feels Good is curated in collaboration with ArkDes, the Swedish Centre for Architecture and Design, and it pitches itself as the "first exhibition of its kind".
The event description reads: "Step into an acoustically tuned environment and understand how people are using new and existing tools and materials to navigate our complex world.
"Explore the emerging field of creativity that has grown up around this feeling and the work of designers and content creators who try to trigger it in their viewers."
Visitors can expect to truly delve into the world of ASMR through the events' 12 exhibits.
Weird Sensation Feels Gpod: The World of ASMR opens next Friday 13 May, and tickets are available on the Design Museum's website.
A weekday adult ticket costs £9.50, while a weekend ticket is priced at £10.90.Life
