The first Pope to ever grace the front cover of the famous publication, Pope Francis proves that he has well and truly carved out his mark in pop culture.
Mark Binelli travelled to Rome for the extensive 7,700 word piece on the exploration of the Pope’s “modern revolution”.
In the article, which is titled after Bob Dylan’s hit album, The Times They Are A-Changin’, Mark explains just how different Pope Francis is to his predecessor, Benedict, comparing his like-ability and appeal to that of Bill Clinton.
From TIME’s ‘Person of the Year’, to the Rolling Stones front cover, Pope Francis is proving to be one popular guy right across the masses.
