As Storm Darwin wreaks havoc across the country, our neighbours in America are feeling the wrath of Storm Pax.
According to Sky News thousands across the East Coast are to expect up to 14 inches of snow by Friday.
Today, an average of three inches of snow fell on the streets of New York.
Storyful founder, Mark Little, posted two incredibly contrasting images captured within 24-hours. The photos were then edited to fit alongside each other by Lisa Fleisher
The first shows the Big Apple looking glorious in the sunlight, the other shows the horrendous storm conditions that now blankets the city.
