Yesterday our ‘pic of the day’ was taken in central Japan where temperatures had plummeted, and today we’ve found another image that gave us the chills.
This next photograph was captured in a place that is considered to be the world’s coldest city, and judging by the vast amount of ice dangling from electric cables, we’re not going to argue with that.
This frost-encrusted two storey home is located in Yakutsk, a far eastern city in Russia that is permanently frozen.
Temperatures in the city regularly dive below -50C, something that the locals there have grown accustomed to.
There we were giving out about Storm Christine a few weeks back… as the saying goes, ‘we don’t know how good we have it.’
