Is it too soon for Christmas? This Dublin pub doesn’t think so
Halloween hasn’t even arrived yet, but we can’t help but get excited about Christmas.
Dunnes is fully stocked with selection boxes, Christmas FM will be on air before we know it, and the lights are waiting to be switched on in Dublin.
The run-up to Christmas is almost here, but for the Hole in the Wall pub in Dublin, the festive period has already started.
The beloved Dublin pub has already broken out its iconic Christmas decorations, and they’re just as incredible as ever.
Posting photos of their impressive Christmas decorations on Instagram, the owners confirmed the pub already feels like a winter wonderland.
They’ve been adding more and more decorations throughout October and it looks pretty incredible.
“We’ve been increasing the decorations a little more every day! It truly is a winter wonderland over here,” the team shared.
Visiting the Hole in the Wall around Christmas time is a must if you’re in Dublin or visiting throughout November and December.
The phenomenal Christmas decorations will instantly lift your mood and put you in the Christmas spirit, even if October isn’t even over yet.
People may roll their eyes at the decorations, but a recent study revealed that people who decorate early for Christmas are actually happier.
“Christmas decorating will spike dopamine, a feel-good hormone. It does create that neurological shift that can produce happiness,” said psychologist Deborah Serani.
Scientists believe that colour and lights help boost our mood. This is known as chromotherapy. The twinkly lights and merry decorations give off positive and hopeful energy.
Does anyone fancy heading to the Hole in the Wall for a pint?
