Paul Mescal is a normal person as he signs up for dating app

Paul Mescal really is just like one of us.

Though you'd think being the star of 'Normal People' and the upcoming 'Gladiator' sequel would help in the romance department apparently a packed schedule makes it difficult to meet people.

It's not the first time the act has been seen looking for love online as he was previously spotted on the celeb app Raya.

Paul had previously dated Phoebe for two years before rumours started to swirl that the two were ready to take the next step in their relationship and and were reportedly engaged.

Not long after this, the couple split and the singer reportedly started dating comedian, Bo Burnham.

Though his love life didn't go to plan, the actor has been unstoppable in the career department and was nominated in the best actor category at the 95th Academy Awards for his role in the indie coming-of-age film 'Aftersun.'

Despite not taking home the award this time around he did win the Olivier Award for Best Actor for his role as Stanley Kowalski in the revival of 'A Streetcar Named Desire'.

In his emotional acceptance speech, he thanked his mum and dad for their unwavering support for him, concluding by saying: "Finally I want to thank my parents who never said no. To my dad and mum - I hope you get better soon - thank you very much."
