In our third instalment to self-defence using Krav Maga, this week we’ll be looking at how a woman can protect herself from an attack from behind.
We’ve teamed up with instructor Patrick and his team at Krav Maga Ireland to bring you some top safety tips that you can easily adapt into your own routine for protection. Each week, we’ll analyse a new skill and demonstrate the method in protecting yourself from a possible attacker.
This week we look at how to respond to someone who tries to attack with a choke. Choking is a seriously dangerous attack as the person using it is ultimately threatening your life. This video shows a technique to break the choking hold by breaking contact without a physical strength.
Again the aim of this technique is to give the person being attacked the chance to break free from their attacker and run for help.
