Supermac’s to give free dressed fries to anyone named Will or Kate during the royal visit to Galway.

In case you haven’t heard, Kate Middleton and Prince William are in Ireland at the moment. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in Dublin on Tuesday for a three day visit, which will also see them visit Kildare, Meath and Galway.

And Supermac’s has come up with a unique (and delicious) way to mark the occasion.

The outlets in Galway City will be giving a free dressed fries to anyone named Will or Kate when the couple visits Galway on Thursday.

“You can’t come to Galway without a visit to Supermac’s and hungry visitors to the city looking to catch a glimpse of the royals will get a chance to devour the delicious fries for free if they provide a passport or drivers licence until 4pm,” a spokesperson for the restaurant chain said.

The chain of family restaurants is famous for its chips having brought us the glorious, thicker chips that we have come to know and love, before adding tasty dressings and sauces such as Curry, Garlic, Cheese, Curry and Cheese, Garlic and Cheese and the delicious Taco.

Supermac’s is Ireland’s largest family restaurant, using fresh 100 per cent Irish chicken and 100 per cent fresh Irish beef.

The restaurant chain is on target to spend over €40million on Irish agricultural produce this year, and the company has over 300 Irish companies supplying its 120 restaurants throughout the country.

The group employs over 4,000 people nationwide and will open a brand-new Plaza in Portlaoise at Junction 17 on the M7.
