For mothers and fathers-to-be, the app brings this amazing journey closer than ever by illuminating key events including the baby’s first time seeing, tasting, hearing, kicking and even the first heartbeat all with incredible clarity and beauty.
Developed in Dublin, Ireland, in collaboration with Redwind Software and in consultation with The National Maternity Hospital, Life in the Womb represents a massive step forward for apps of this kind taking full advantage of all the latest iOS 7 features.
Michael Grant, co-founder of the Science Company commented: “This app has brought together an amazing team of artists, programmers, doctors and writers to create what we believe is an entirely new experience for expectant parents.”
The app will give week-by-week information about the mother and baby throughout the 40 weeks of pregnancy and will even include 3D rotations of the baby at key stages of development.
The app is priced at €4.49 from the App Store and from the looks of it, is worth every penny.
