Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt name Hills co-star as son’s godmother

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have asked one of their former The Hills co-stars to be one of their son's godparents.

The new mum confirmed they had asked Jen Bunney in an Instagram story on Thursday. The former Celebrity Big Brother star said in a video:

"Cheers, I have one of Gunner's godmothers here, Jen Bunney!"

Her reality TV pal added:

"We're celebrating Gunner. He's the best baby ever. We love him so much!"

Heidi and Spencer welcomed their first child together on October 1. Mum Heidi told US Weekly that she and Spencer felt "blessed" to have such a "beautiful healthy baby boy." She added:

"It was the hardest and most rewarding experience."

Spencer also described the day as "officially the most lit" of his life. The couple had hinted that little Gunner would be arriving soon late last month after a visit to the doctor's office, who were previously given a due date of October 19. The new mum revealed on Instagram stories that they were hoping their little one wouldn't "come too early" as Spencer joked "stay in that belly, boy!" The pair, who have been together since 2006 and married since 2009, announced that they were expecting a baby together back in April.
