EastEnders star Ben Hardy has reportedly quit the hit show in the same week that he has been linked to the new X-Men movie.
Reports state that a source from the popular soap has confirmed that the actor (who plays Peter Beale) has decided not to renew his contract, having joined the show in 2013.
According to reports, the 23-year-old will finish out his existing contract before bidding farewell to Albert Square following a storyline that has kept viewers gripped over the last number of months.
Fans of the show have been glued to their screens as his character Peter had to deal with the news of the death of his twin sister Lucy, and viewers later rejoiced when he got back together with ex-girlfriend Lauren Branning.
He also gained a lot of fans with this sizzling picture for the EastEnders charity calendar.
