A cinema in Colorado in the United States accidentally showed the start of Fifty Shades of Grey instead of the new SpongeBob movie to a theatre full of children and their parents.
According to reports, the mistake was made during the 11.45am screening of The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water on Monday morning.
The cinema quickly realized their mistake and cut off the film and began showing kids movie trailers instead.
“It was the parents’ reaction to it that was so funny,” said local cinema-goer Joe Jaramillo to The Coloradoan.
“Some were moving pretty fast to get the kids out of the theatre. The family sitting behind me said what I was thinking: ‘Am I in the right theatre?’”
