Save the date for the new Zendaya and Robert Pattinson A24 film

You're cordially invited.

This A24 dramatic romance will see the duo share the screen for the first but certainly not the last time in 2026. 

Both written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli, The Drama tells the story of a “happily engaged couple”, whose impending nuptials are “put to the test when an unexpected revelation sends their wedding week off the rails”, according to the film's IMDb page.

Before the trailer was released, an engagement announcement was placed in The Boston Globe newspaper as part of A24's The Drama campaign.

The engagement ad introduced us to book publisher Emma Harwood (Zendaya) and her soon-to-be husband, Charlie Thompson (Pattinson), who is the director of an art museum.

The teaser trailer formally introduces us to the soon-to-be-wed couple as they meet with a professional photographer for their wedding picture announcement, but the pair seems to struggle to display genuine happiness. Surely not the sign of perfect marital matrimony.

Alana Haim, Mamoudou Athie, Michael Abbott Jr, Hailey Gates, and Sydney Lemmon are also set to star. 

The Drama is set to hit our screens on April 3rd, 2026.

Its safe to say we’ll save the date.
