People may not agree with me, but The Holiday is my number one Christmas movie. The festive rom-com never fails to put a smile on my face, so rumours about a potential sequel felt like Christmas had come early.
Rumours about a second installment have been circulating for years, but Jude Law addressed the claims when he was enjoying lunch with writer and director Nancy Meyers.
The Holiday director posted a video of Jude addressing the rumours while paying tribute to one of his character's most iconic moments.
Meyers reunited with the leading man for the first time since they worked on the Christmas classic in 2024.
She told her followers: "Look who I'm having lunch with today... Jude Law! Congratulations on your so well-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. That's amazing."
In the clip, Nancy asks Jude, "I've seen you interviewed a lot and they keep asking you, 'Is there going to be a sequel?'. What do you think?"
The actor recreated the Mr. Napkinhead scene from the iconic Christmas movie, which has convinced fans he's eager to return.
Jude Law previously opened up about a possible sequel in an interview with Today.
He said he would love to see where the film's four lead characters are nearly 20 years on.
"I'd love to see where they're at," he said.
The actor stressed that he'd happily be involved in the sequel once director Nancy Meyers was involved.
