Three of your favourite TV shows have just been cancelled

Prepare yourselves – it’s not good news.

The CW has confirmed that three of our favourite shows have been cancelled. The network announced it’s new autumn schedule today and revealed that three popular shows would not be returning next year. While many have speculated that it might be the case, network bosses have now confirmed that Jane The Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend will both be coming to an end after the upcoming season has aired. However, more surprisingly, it was announced that iZombie will also be finishing up this year, three years after it first aired. While audience numbers were lower for the show, it always maintained a very loyal fan-base. Despite this, the show will end after its fifth season has aired later this year. The CWs decision to cancel both Jane The Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend might not be all that surprising after both show’s leading ladies have hinted at the fact, however, it is still a bold move as the two acclaimed shows earned the network their first two Golden Globe awards ever.
