Steve McDonald’s about to make Corrie history and is he honestly for real?

Ah, Steve.

Coronation Street is pretty well known for their iconic characters. Think your Deirdre Barlows, think your Roy Croppers, think your Leanna Battersbys - all iconic, all absolutely unforgettable. You could definitely throw Steve McDonald in with that lot too. After all, he's gotten a lot done on the cobbles during his 20+ years of living there. Most notably - getting married. He's gotten married a lot. Like, a lot. Like six times. And he's about to make Coronation Street history by getting married for the literal seventh time. Genuinely seven marriages. That's Henry VIII territory like, who is he? Where did they find him?! According to The Sun, Steve isn't going down a new romance-based route either - he's getting married to somebody he's already been married to before. Tracy Barlow. Yeah, the iconic couple are back for a second go of it and to be honest, if this leads to more Steve yelling 'Traceeeh' video compilations then we are absolutely here for it. A source told the publication that although “... Steve McDonald might not be the best looking bloke in soap history" (OK, bit harsh), he'll be popping the question to Tracy for the second time over the next coming weeks. And she, naturally, says yes. And who wouldn't? In fairness to her, Steve has done this whole proposal thing enough times now that he's got to be fairly good at it. It remains to be seen, however, whether Steve and Tracy will actually get down the aisle - it's Coronation Street, after all like. And seeing as their first marriage back in 2012 didn't exactly end in the best way possible, we'll remain cautiously optimistic about this. Sure look, we can only wish him all the best.
