RTÉ presenter Sinead Kennedy took to Instagram to tell the world she’s expecting her second child this week, but did it in a really unique way.
Sinead wrote on Instagram: “A bit of NEWS ❤️. Conor, Indie and I are thrilled that another little person will be joining our crew in November.”
But she also tagged Irish Country Magazine – because she appears on their cover to announce her pregnancy, exactly as she did when pregnant with her first child, a daughter named Indie. Sinead joked to the mag: “We seem to be making a habit of this!”

We’re delighted for the presenter, who discussed with the magazine how she’d experienced pregnancy loss before this current pregnancy, and how she had to go live on air and put on a brave face during the toughest of times.
Sinead shares daughter Indie with her husband Conor Kirwan, who she married in a stunning wedding ceremony in Dromquinna Manor in Sneem, Co Kerry back in 2014. Their little girl was born in 2021 and soon she’ll have a sibling.
