We love to see it.
Last night, we saw the epic Love Island final and with that was a LOT of “I love yous” said, but it wasn’t the only major moment on the show.
Of course, Kai and Sanam were crowned this year’s winners following a whirlwind romance when Kai chose to recouple with Sanam during Casa Amor.
Kai had been in a couple with Olivia but had his head turned once the new bombshell arrived in the villa, and the two then never left each other’s sides.
But in the midst of an accidental love confession from Sanam and a £50,000 prize for the couple, Sanam made history on the show as the first ever Casa bombshell to come in first place.
Speaking to host Maya Jama, Kai spoke about how special his connection with Sanam is, saying: “She doesn’t leave my side and I absolutely love her.
“On the outside, she’s going to be my girlfriend but I want that control.
“I’m gonna make it so special and I have told her so many times that she is gonna be my girlfriend on the outside. So keep a look out.”
And Sanam told Kai: “You charmed with your smile, you always managed to make me laugh. You made me feel like a princess and the only girl in the world.
“I can’t wait for you to come round to my house and for my mum to cook you Caribbean food. You’ve shown me my worth.”
Fans were delighted the couple were crowned winners, with one person on Twitter saying: “Kai and Sanam have just made HISTORY winning the show! -First Casa Couple to Win -First Casa Girl to Win -First Trinidad Girl to Win -First Jamaican to Win The list just keeps on GOING BABY I’m so happy they won.”
Another said: ““Working with children because we both genuinely want to make a difference” HOW CAN YOU NOT MAKE KAI AND SANAM YOUR WINNERS.”
A third wrote: “Kai and Sanam are officially the first POC couple to win a Love Island UK series.”
