Netflix viewers are loving twisty thriller The Weekend Away

Netflix loves a good thriller, and they know how to do them well, they know exactly what type of show gets us hooked and their latest is no different. The streaming service's new murder mystery film The Weekend Away has everyone talking, and a lot of people seem to be making the same comment about the film. The film, which stars Leighton Meester, hit Netflix last week and tells the story of Kate, played by Christina Wolfe, as she goes missing from a girl's trip to Croatia and her best friend Beth, played by Meester, iI just watched ‘The weekend away’ on Netflix and I am speechless 10/10 would recommend.s forced to try and work out what happened to her friend, all with a hazy memory. Suspicion arises from local police and in a country where she doesn't speak the language, it only causes more drama to unfold. Taking to Twitter, fans of the new Netflix drop all had the same thing to say.
