Ruh-oh.
Love Island has been pretty stressful over the past few days.
There’s been recouplings, revelations, and replies to the words ‘I love you’ that are absolutely less than ideal.
And while all of the intense stress seems to have been generated from Michael, Amber, Curtis, and Amy, there’s a few other people hanging by the sidelines who are also about to inject some tension-filled drama into our lives.
Most notably Lucie – who has over the past day or so realised that she does, indeed, still fancy Tommy Fury.
Great.
Having just brought the most boring man in the world back to the main villa, Lucie is unsurprisingly not too delighted with her choice of new boy.
So much so that she’s deciding to try and get it on with Tommy. Again.
Pulling him for a chat during tonight’s episode, she admits that she does still have feelings for him.
“I do want to get to know George but you can’t really change how you feel,” she says to him. “I’ve known you for how many weeks now?”
“You can’t switch those things off,” says Tommy, desperately trying to be the good guy while actively warding Lucie off.
“It’s still going to be there,” she replies. “I don’t want you to feel awkward and feel like you can’t talk to me.”
“Regardless of what has happened, I still want the friendship there,” says Tommy. “I don’t want to lose that.”
Lucie then admits that she feels regretful that she didn’t chose Tommy back at the beginning of their Love Island journey.
“I just feel stupid because at the start I don’t know why I didn’t choose you,” she says.
Tommy’s and Lucie’s chat, however, doesn’t go unnoticed by Molly-Mae who sees the pair talking while she’s with the others in the garden.
“I don’t mind that she fancies him,” she says. “I can’t get annoyed for someone fancying him.”
“There are no rules about that but it’s how you go about it. Open up to me and be honest about it.”
She later says in the Beach Hut: “It’s very strange that I was sat with Lucie in Casa Amor and to find out she was sat there thinking about Tommy. It doesn’t worry me but obviously it bothers me.”
It would, yeah.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two.
