Lana Del Ray has announced a major Dublin gig and it’s happening very soon.
After headlining Glastonbury over the weekend, American singer Lana Del Rey has announced a last-minute surprise show in Dublin’s 3Arena on July 7.
Del Rey announced two more additional dates to her European tour on Tuesday morning alongside the Dublin show, in Paris and Amsterdam.
Tickets for the 3Arena gig are priced from €69.70 and go on sale this Friday, June 30, at 9 am from Ticketmaster.
Lana Del Rey’s Glastonbury set was cut short.
In a statement, the singer said:
“I love Europe and after playing Glastonbury, have decided to play a few more shows in various countries around my Hyde Park Show in London on July 9th. Today I am announcing shows in Amsterdam on July 4th, Dublin on July 7th and Paris on July 10th. I look forward to seeing you all.”
The singer-songwriter’s headline set at Glastonbury was cut short after she arrived 30 minutes late to the stage on Saturday night.
“I’m so fucking late they may cut my set,” she said to the fans left frustrated at the Other stage. “I’m sorry, my hair takes so long. If they cut the power, let’s keep going.”
Just an hour after she started her set, the singer’s microphone was cut off as she tried to plead with the crew to turn it back on, with boos ringing around the crowd.
She then stepped down from the stage and sang to the front of the crowd without her mic, but ultimately left fans disappointed.
