Irish panto star set to join Love Island 2025 cast

The Dublin star has been compared to past Love Island star, Maura Higgins

According to Extra, Dublin actor Megan Forte Clarke has signed up for the popular show.

She starred as one of the Ugly Stepsisters in Cinderella.

Forte Clarke has drawn comparisons to previous Love Island contestant, Maura Higgins. 

A source told Extra:

“Megan is a gorgeous girl, she’s funny, and right now, couldn’t be unluckier in love, making her the perfect Islander.”

“Comparisons to Maura are inevitable, and if anything, Megan will see it as a huge compliment.”

Popular on TikTok and Instagram, the Irish star is sure to turn heads in the Villa.

According to The Sun, Forte Clarke is friends with past star Harriet Blackmore, a contestant on the series in 2024 and the second season of All Stars in 2025.

Love Island also announced three new contestants

22-year-old Tommy (Left) is a Landscape Gardener from Hertfordshire, England. 

He is looking for an ambitious, caring person with a big personality and “doesn’t take themselves too seriously”.

Alima (Centre) is a 23-year-old Wealth Management Client Services Executive from Glasgow. 

She is looking for a “tall man with a handsome face”:

“You know when you just look at a guy and they have that Disney prince look to them? That’s it.”

Ben (Right) is a 23-year-old Private Hire Taxi driver from Gloucester, England.

He is looking for someone sexy, with good vibes, nice eyes, and good eye contact.

Love Island returns on Monday, June 9th, at 9 pm on Virgin Media Play and Virgin Media Two.
