Maura Higgins never fails when it comes to the red carpet
If only she had lost her shoe…
Maura Higgins arrived in a stunning Cinderella-inspired ball gown at the Baftas on Sunday evening.
Proving she’s one of the most stylish reality stars of all time, Higgins stunned in yet another flawless gown for the elite event in London.
The Love Island and I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! star wore an eye-catching blue backless dress designed by Elio Abou Fayssal.
The high neck, backless dress with a detailed bodice and big skirt radiates an energy of sophistication with a hint of fun. Higgins paired the outfit with a slick back half-up-half-down and drop-down earrings, complementing the blue tone of the dress.
Maura makes her red carpet return
This is Higgins’ first time back on the red carpet following the scandal at the Brit Awards after-party. She was spotted kissing fellow I’m a Celeb star Danny Jones at an after-party in March.
The McFly musician, 38, has been married to his wife, Georgia Horsley, since 2014, but appeared to kiss Love Island’s Higgins at Universal Music’s party.
The pair were sitting at different tables during the Brits, held at the O2 Arena, but then met up at the after-party at 180 Studios on The Strand in central London.
They were seen chatting with their campmate Oti Mabuse before they were pictured sharing a kiss at 3 am in the foyer. They then went on to Sony’s after-party at the Nobu Hotel.
Higgins faced backlash following the scandal, despite a source stating that she can’t remember the kiss:
“It was a drunken night, and Maura insists that she can’t even remember the kiss. It wasn’t and won’t ever be a “thing” between them, and she’s said she won’t speak to him again.”
Jones issued a statement about the incident and said he loves his wife.
“Sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me,” he wrote on Instagram.
“I want to deeply apologise to my wife for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.
He concluded: “I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. See you all soon, Danny.”
