Thousands of people were left disappointed this morning as Coldplay’s first presale tickets went on sale
Ticketmaster was under serious pressure this morning in Ireland as thousands of fans struggled to get tickets for Coldplay’s gigs next year. The band, led by singer Chris Martin, are bringing their Music Of The Spheres tour to Croke Park in Dublin on Thursday, August 29th and Friday August 30th in 2024.

This morning, over 160,000 people logged on to try to get tickets during the first presale, and while some were successful, many people were waiting for hours in the queueing system, or else received an error message.

Genuine question – has anyone actually managed to get #coldplaydublin tickets yet?
I’ve been onto Ticketmaster to try and find out what’s going on with the capacity issues on the platform. No word back yet.

The Ticketmaster website was struggling with the sheer volume of people attempting to gain access.

For those unsuccessful today, promoter presale (MCD) tickets go on sale at 10am on Wednesday, while general admission tickets will go on sale on Friday at 10am. Fans can buy a maximum of four presale tickets, and a maximum of six general sale tickets.
The Coldplay gigs will no doubt be the gigs of the year next summer, so if you’re still hoping for tickets… Stay in line!
