Add us as a preferred source on Google »If you're looking for a podcast to replace Pandora Sykes and Dolly Alderton's The High Low then I've finally found one.
If, like me and most millennial women, the High-Low was the one podcast everyone was obsessed with. It had everything you could want and more from a podcast.
Dolly and Pandora were both endearing and witty, the topics were both highbrow and lowbrow culture, and it was the perfect podcast to keep us company on our hot girl walks.
Sadly, the podcast ended in December 2020, leaving fans absolutely gutted. Where were we going to listen to people discuss Emily in Paris and the Free School Meals Scheme in one episode?
Many podcasts have come and gone since Dolly and Pandora said goodbye, but The Fringe of It has filled that gap for me.
In the Fringe of It, friends Liv Purvis and Charlotte Jacklin, a self-professed pair of out-of-touch early grandmas, navigate their way through the wins and the wobbles of millennial life.
They've recently returned to the podcast world with a brand new season and it is brightening this rather dull summer we've been experiencing.
Like the High-Low, there's something so comforting about this podcast. It's two millennial women, who have a close friendship, speaking beautifully about everything and anything. It feels like catching up with your friends and it's exactly what you need on the way home from work or during a quiet Sunday in your favourite coffee shop.
You can follow The Fringe of It here. Listen to new episodes on Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts.
