Ouch.
It seems Stephen Bear is the Celebrity Big Brother housemate getting the least amount of money this year.
According to The Sun, the Ex on the Beach regular is getting £12,000 to appear on the reality TV show.
Obviously, £12,000 isn’t bad at all when you’re just sitting around having the banter on national television but it is significantly less than some of Stephen’s fellow housemates.
Christopher Biggins is reportedly getting £150,000 to appear on the show while Grant Bovey is cleaning up nicely with £100,000.
There have been suggestions that Stephen cheating on his girlfriend Lillie Lexie Gregg with fellow contestant Chloe Khan meant his popularity declined with the viewing public.
One of Stephen’s friends spoke to the publication:
“He knew he would be one of the stars of the show and really pushed for a bumper pay cheque but the producers wouldn’t budge.
“He had hoped he would be able to cash in with big bucks magazine deals with his girlfriend after leaving the house, having split with his manager and signed to the same management team as Lillie to make it happen.
“But now that he has cheated on her with Chloe Khan he will have to work hard to build the relationship back up again”.
That suggests he will get back together with Lexie but she has already said that there isn’t a chance of that happening and you can read more on that here.
Lexie entered the CBB house earlier this week as part of a task and after coming face to face with her former flame, she said it was one of the “hardest things” she ever had to do.
