Gwyneth Paltrow is feeling very maternal this week after celebrating Mother’s Day over the weekend and her daughter’s birthday this week. Yes, the mum-of-two took to Instagram this week to wish her eldest child a happy 14th birthday, saying:

“Happy birthday, my darling girl. You make everyday feel like Christmas morning. “You are the most vibrant, hilarious, twirling all over the place, beautiful (inside and out) young woman. “You are an amazing thinker and an incredible songwriter. Thanks for still hanging out with me, even though you are 14.”

And while the sweet post might have been enough to catch followers attention, it was the picture that had everyone talking. Yes, it was impossible to miss the resemblance between 14-year-old Apple and her mum Gwyneth in the picture shared with her 4.2 million followers. “She is actually your twin OMG,” wrote one follower. While another said, “For a second I thought this was a picture from your childhood.” While it’s hardly surprising that Gwyneth’s daughter would bear some resemblance to her mother, you have to admit, the two are very similar indeed. But do they give Reese Witherspoon and her daughter Ava a run for their money? Not quite.
