The Graham Norton Show will return but there’s going to be some small changes

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

It's Friday, which means it's the day of the Pub Quiz and, depending on the time of the year, The Late Late Show and The Graham Norton Show. The Graham Norton Show hasn't been on our screens recently, but the new series is set to start on 10 April as planned, but there will be changes due to the coronavirus pandemic. The BBC confirmed it would start at 9pm, have a shorter runtime of just 30 minutes and Graham would continue to interview guests in a new format. "The BAFTA-award-winning host is back, connecting to the world around him with his famous mix of star guests, jokes and stories, including the notorious Red Chair – now relocated to the comfort of your own armchair at home," a description of the show read. The BBC also announced this week that they will fill Saturday nights with reruns of comedies Gavin and Stacey and Outnumbered.

"The BBC is determined to do all it can to raise a smile and keep the country entertained during these testing times," Director General Tony Hall said in a statement.

"We have lots of great shows already recorded, but we have also found ways to keep many other shows going so that the familiar faces people love will still be in their living rooms in the weeks and months ahead.

"I think that is incredibly important," he said.

Alongside the Graham Norton Show, Have I Got News For You is also set to return with a brand new series along with news satire series The Mash Report.
