Tickets go on sale next Thursday.

Gorillas have announced a huge Dublin gig for next summer – their biggest one in Ireland to date.

The hugely anticipated show will take place at Malahide Castle on June 9, 2018.

Concert promoters MCD confirmed the news on social media early Thursday afternoon.

The virtual band, originally created by Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett, is made up of: 2D (vocals), Noodle (guitar), Russel Hobbs (drums) and Murdoc Niccals (bass).

There’s no support confirmed just yet for the gig, but if it’s anything like the band’s Demon Dayz festival earlier this year, we’re already pretty excited.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of the group’s high-acclaimed album, Humanz, earlier this year – which left many Irish fans wondering when a gig would be announced.

Tickets are priced at €69.50. They’re on sale from the usual outlets at 9am on November 9.

The news comes as two more huge shows were recently announced for the outdoor venue.

LCD Soundsystem were announced to be playing Malahide Castle on June 5.

Tickets cost €69.50 and go 0n sale at 9am on Friday November 3.

Meanwhile, Liam Gallagher will be playing the same venue on June 15.

Tickets are priced at €49.50 and go on sale to the general public on Friday November 3 at 9am.
