Emily in Paris is finally back but will it return for season five?
Emily in Paris is finally back on Netflix and we’re already blitzing through the final episodes of season four.
The show is escapist joy at its finest which makes it beyond easy to binge-watch but will Emily in Paris return for a fifth season?
Netflix has not yet confirmed if the show has been renewed for a fifth season, but it likely will given its immense popularity.
Lily Collins has also spoken out about season five and what will happen to Emily.
She told Extra TV, “We have to go down to season 5 to find that out, so I’m praying we finally get a greenlight and explore more of Italy.
“That would be so fun, to see more of the city and country, and to see what Marcello might bring to Emily. It’s a very different vibe and energy, so I’m excited for Emily to find a different version of herself,” Lily Collins added.
Creator Darren Star recently opened up about the show’s ending, but said he’ll gladly work on the Netflix hit for as long as possible.
He told Entertainment Tonight: “I’ll say as long as they’ll have us and as long as our audience is with us.”
Darren said they’re not short on storylines or incredible characters so they may as well keep going for as long as possible.
“The ensemble and the world just keep broadening and deepening with each season. We’ve got great characters and fun storylines that seem to get more intriguing and dramatic every season.”
