The new season of The Great British Bake Off will return in just a matter of weeks.
Summer is well and truly over and cozy season is here, and honestly, we can’t wait for it.
The beloved Channel 4 show returns this autumn and promises to be one of the best seasons yet with Alison Hammond taking over from host Matt Lucas.
Channel 4 released a trailer for the upcoming season this evening.
The broadcaster confirmed the show will return “very soon” and fans are excited about the new host.

One said, “You made the best choice for the new presenter, she will bring laughter to the show and won’t take over, the contestants will get a look in.”

“I’m not a massive Allison Hammond fan, but I think with Noel – She’s made for this series!” one shared.

Speaking about her upcoming role on the show, Alison said she feels so lucky to be joining the Bake Off family.
She said she feels honoured to take over from Matt Lucas.

She shared: “I’m joining The Great British Bake Off. I’m so very excited,” she shared when she was announced as the new host in March.
Alison Hammond will present the show alongside comedian and actor Noel Fielding.
The Great British Bake Off returns in September.
