ITV are yet to give an exact date for the upcoming series but they have confirmed it will start in June.
With rumours it's set to begin on June 6th, it wouldn't be all that surprising considering that is usually the time of year the villa opens for business.
Is there a new villa?
Yes, and from what we know, it's going to be immense.
Kevin Lygo, ITV’s managing director of media and entertainment, confirmed the news to PA Media, saying the new villa will be “marvellous”.
The ITV boss said: “We are choosing a new house for this summer so that is all secrecy. It is going to be marvellous.”
When asked where it would be located, he said: "Yes, it is going to be in Majorca. It is going to be a great one [series].”
Who is presenting?
Back again, we've got Bray native Laura Whitmore at the helm alongside her co-star and real life husband Iain Stirling as the voiceover man for another year running.
Who is on the show?
While we won't know for sure until the very first episode, there are always rumours as to which influencers will make it on this year.
With a mix of nobody's (yet) and former WAGs, this year's rumour list looks like it'll be a good one.
So far we've got former islander Zara McDermott's brother Brad, Sophie Draper, a beautician from Nottingham, Footballer Michael Owen's daughter Gemma and basketball player Jordan Spencer.
Irish influencer and TikTok star Eabha O'Donoghue is also on the rumour list, along with model and boxer Josh Legrove and Turkish actress and influencer Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.
Where can I see the trailer?
In the new clip that was released last week, narrator Ian Stirling takes a dig at rival dating shows, reminding everyone that Love Island is the "OG" aka original.
Sterling can be heard saying: “Adios blind dates. Au revoir romantic weekends away. Arrivederci to the language of love. Is that a text in your pocket or are you just excited to see us?
“That’s right, the OGs of love are here, letting you know that this summer, love is ours. So to all you pretenders, stand down... cos this is our patch.
“We might sound like we’re chatting a load of old bumble, but we know you’ll be swiping our way. 224 Islanders have walked through the villa doors in classic Love Island slow mo, but hey, don’t take it from me – our bromances, babies and brides can tell you why we are number one.”
“So get ready, ’cause this summer, love isn’t blind, it’s neon. And we can deffo handle the heat, we’ve got a fire pit, mate. Love, we own it."Love Island has its first ‘exclusive’ couple just one week into the show
Sean ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald has made it official with Lola Deal on Love Island. Love Island viewers were shocked to see this couple become “officially locked off”, after just one week in the villa. Irish contestant Sean ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald has been coupled up with Lola Deal since the first day. During last night’s episode, the pair […]
