Dean Gaffney is returning to EastEnders.
While it will no doubt be a memorable return, Dean will only be in the show for a short period of time.
Speaking to Digital Spy about the news, he revealed: "It's nice to get that call and it is nice to still be thought of in that way… I think it's just following a trend and bringing back characters that the audience haven't forgotten about."

He added: "He's back for Carol. He comes back from India and he has a four-year-old son. Obviously he keeps up to date with Sonia and what she has been up to, so he meets her girlfriend Tina. He just comes back to the family."
