Dermot O’Leary has hinted that he may not return for The X Factor this year.
The presenter told Radio Times that while he enjoys doing the show, he wouldn’t rule out any new opportunities.
“I haven’t made up my mind yet. I love doing (it) and it’s a huge part of my life. But it’s eight years now,” he explained.
“If a new challenge came up that meant I couldn’t do both, then… But while I’m still enjoying it, I want to carry on doing it.”
The 41-year-old revealed that discussions regarding the new series usually happen in February which means fans shouldn’t have too long to wait to find out who is coming back.
Last year saw Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini return to the judging panel however rival show Strictly Come Dancing still won in the ratings battle.
How do we feel about Dermot leaving? This. This is how we feel…
