Cheryl’s got a new name and Liam’s been telling us all about it

We finally know.

After a long period of confusion, we finally know what Cheryl is to be called. We never fully got the hang of Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, and now we’re in luck because Cheryl has reverted back to something a lot easier for us all to remember.

With her social media profiles showing just her first name, we thought the songstress was going down the Madonna route, however, it seems she’s changed her mind. In an interview this week, partner and father to her little boy, Liam Payne, revealed the former X Factor judge has gone back to Cheryl Tweedy.

“Her name is officially Cheryl Tweedy now,” Liam told BBC Radio 1Xtra. “But to be honest it doesn’t really bother me, we have a kid together, there’s a lot more to our life.” Well, we’re happy to hear, but we can’t be the only ones who are a little happy to finally get some clarity?
