Bake Off fans not able for Prue’s innuendos last night

Ellen Fitzpatrick

It doesn’t get better than this.

The Great British Bake Off is really just a show full of innuendos, and it’s one of the reasons why we all adore it so much.

With everything from ‘hot baps” to “really, really stiff”, they’re usually innocent but hilarious, and the show just wouldn’t be the same without a few thrown in every so often.

But when it comes to judge Prue Leith, she’s on a whole other level with them and her latest one really had viewers losing it during last night’s episode.

Referring to the baked goods as having “sweaty bottoms”, fans are deeming this comment her “worst ever innuendo”.

Hey, at least we know where they draw the line with them now.

Knowing exactly what she had done, Prue couldn’t hold in the laughter during last night’s show after blurting out the very risqué comment.

Commenting on 35-year-old Greek-Cypriot baker George’s signature choux pasty doughnuts, Prue said: “It’s important you get the filling right the way round.

“Quite often I need two holes so that I can squirt.”

Catching eye contact with Matt Lucas, Paul Hollywood also couldn’t hold it together and fought back the laughter as she made the very out there comment.

But even when everyone around her was giggling, she still continued saying: “When you squeeze the bag, when you meet that little bit of resistance…. that usually means it’s full.”

It was here that nobody could keep a straight face any longer as both Matt and Paul burst out laughing, with Matt adding that they only laughed “because we’re children.”

Fans could cope with the comment either, with one saying: “Nearly choked on my coffee. Don’t think Prue even realised what she said. Paul’s face.”

Another said: “Remember when we all just used to giggle over ‘soggy bottoms’.”

A third wrote: “Choking nearly had a asthma attack when pru said this.”
