Hollywood star Amy Adams will be coming to our TV screens in a new show, Sharp Objects.
According to Variety Magazine, Amy has signed on to play the lead role in the new show which is based on Gillian Flynn’s novel by the same name.
Gillian’s other novel, Gone Girl, was a hugely popular movie in 2014, grossing over $160million in the American box office.

Sharp Objects follows a reporter (Amy Adams) who is covering the murder of two girls in her hometown, following a brief stay in a psych hospital.
It’s the first time Amy will play the lead in a TV show, having previously starred as minor roles in The Office, Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Smallville.
