Starring opposite Bradley Cooper as Pat Solatano in the offbeat romantic comedy, J-Law played the troubled young widow who used a dancing competition to rebuild her and Pat’s life while they both faced some emotional ups and downs. Although she nailed the performance, and bagged herself an Oscar for her troubles, movie mogul Harvey Weinstein’s first choice to play the role of Tiffany was actually Anne Hathaway. Speaking to Howard Stern, Weinstein admitted: “Silver Linings Playbook was originally gonna be Mark Wahlberg with Anne Hathaway… and then Anne wasn’t doing it. She's marvellous, and wonderful, and she was my choice. I love her. ... We had Annie and then we had Mark, and then whatever happened happened. [Director] David [O. Russell] and Anne had some creative differences. ... They didn't see eye to eye."
