The wife of Roger Rodas, the man who was driving the car that crashed killing him and Paul Walker, is suing Porsche.
According to Sky News, Kristin Rodas is claiming that the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT that her husband and the actor were travelling in had design flaws and faulty suspension.
The papers state: “The Carrera GT was unsafe for its intended use by reason of defects in its manufacture, design, testing, component and constituents, so that it would not safely serve its purpose”.
Following the fatal accident in November 2013, the Los Angeles County Sherriff’s department launched an investigation which found that speed was the cause of the crash.
In contrast to what they were saying, that Mr Rodas was driving at speeds of 80 to 93mph, Mrs Rodas claims he was driving at 55mph before the accident.
