Viewers fell in love with Victoria’s humour when watching ‘Beckham’.
It is being reported that Victoria Beckham, 49, is ‘in talks’ to have her own TV documentary following the major success of her husband David Beckham’s four-part Netflix show, ‘Beckham‘.
The former Spice Girl’s journey from a 1900s pop sensation to a global fashion boss, all while being a mum to four children, are said to be the focus point of this potential documentary.
Discussions for Victoria’s own series reportedly began during the summer, but with the highly positive reaction from viewers of Beckham, TV executives are eager to get the ball rolling on a documentary about the fashion tycoon.
Speaking on the potential series, a source told The Sun that it will be a documentary that will explore her ‘meteoric rise in the fashion world; how she’s built a fashion and beauty empire from scratch.’
Victoria is the founder and designer of her eponymous fashion label, Victoria Beckham, launched in 2008, with a diffusion label in 2011, as well as Victoria Beckham Beauty.
“The focus will very much be on the business brand, but will detail how she had to overcome the naysayers post-Spice Girls and defied the cynics. At times her journey wasn’t easy, and there will be a blood, sweat and tears look behind the scenes at the sheer graft she has put into Âreinventing herself,” the source added.
The source also revealed that the documentary hopes to include personal life elements, such as her marriage to football legend, David Beckham and celebrity friends.
“It’s early days but everyone is very excited about this production,” the source continued.
Fans fell in love with Victoria’s intelligence, wittiness, and candid hilarity when watching Beckham, with many seeing a side to the former pop icon they had not seen before.
‘Beckham’ was released on October 4th, and according to the outlet, has been streamed in 25 million households so far, underscoring the popularity the couple still maintain after close to 25 years of marriage.
“Beckham has proven that even 24 years after they first wed, the public remain captivated by David and ÂVictoria so there’s hope a series focusing on the leading lady will do just as well,” a TV source said.
The couple share four children together: Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 18, and Harper, 12.
