Vanessa Hudgens tied the knot this month
Former Disney star Vanessa Hudgens is officially married to baseball player, Cole Tucker.
The couple tied the knot in a stunning ceremony in the Mayan jungle in Mexico on December 2nd.
They were joined by their friends and family, but Vanessa’s followers noticed one important person missing from the celebration.
As happy as her fans were, many couldn’t help but question where her High School Musical co-star Ashley Tisdale was.
The pair grew incredibly close after starring in High School Musical together, but she did not attend her co-star’s wedding.
Many fans spammed the comment section with questions about their friendship.
“Never thought Ashley would not be in her wedding. Sad,” one wrote.
“Can’t believe Ashley Tisdale wasn’t a bridesmaid!” another wrote.
Vanessa didn’t let the comments take away from her special day, which she described as the most “magical weekend of my life”.
Vanessa told Vogue: “It was genuinely the most magical weekend of my life. I am so grateful that we got to have a private wedding, and it helped that I took everyone’s phones away.
“It was amazing because at the dinner, I would look around and everyone was talking to each other—our family and friend groups coming together and creating real relationships that I know they’re going to invest real time into.
“Seeing that and bringing everyone together and celebrating us, it was just so magical. Talking about it right now, I’m getting teary-eyed. I couldn’t have dreamt it to be any better. I knew it was going to be magical, but it exceeded my expectations,” she added.
What happened with Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale?
The actress has never publicly commented on the fallout of her friendship with Ashley Tisdale.
However, insiders claim the pair drifted apart after Austin Butler and Vanessa broke up.
Ashley reportedly took the Elvis actor’s side in the break-up.
The pair were on speaking terms until April 2021 and Hudgens even spent time with Tisdale’s daughter.
She posted a photo of her holding the singer’s daughter and said she adored her from the moment she met her.
Tisdale told Bustle: “She loved Vanessa, I think she just knew how much Vanessa means to me. They were so cute together, and Vanessa just kept tearing up the entire time because it was so wild … because this year, you just don’t see friends, and I saw Vanessa maybe once or twice that year, which is very rare for us.”
